Palete Marionnaud - review and swatches

    Paletele de farduri Marionnaud sunt printre cele mai calitative pe care le-am incercat, fiind tot timpul pigmentate si cremoase, dar si foarte accesibile ca pret. Cu ocazia reducerilor pe care le au acum, m-am gandit sa fac un scurt review al paletelor pe care le am si care inca sunt disponibile (si acum sunt reduse la jumatate de pret, toate fiind sub 30lei).

    Marionnaud eyeshadow are among the best I've ever tried, being pigmented, creamy, an relatively cheap. Since they have sales now I thought I'd share my opinion on some of their palettes.

    Cele trei palete pe care le-am ales sunt formate din nuante neutre, atat mai inchise cat si mai deschise, si gama larga de culori le fac potrivite atat pentru look-uri de zi cat si pentru cele mai elaborate, de seara. Singurul minus pe care l-as gasi e ca nu prea au farduri mate, doar una din palete avand doua nuante care nu sunt sidefate.

    The three palettes I own are all neutral and the wide range of colors make them appropriate for everyday looks as well as special occasion ones. The only downside to these is that they don't really have matte shades, only one of the three palettes having two matte eyeshadows.

    Si ambalajul mi se pare elegant si atractiv, pare rezistent si toate paletele au oglinda.

    The packaging is nice and elegant and it seems sturdy enough. All of the palettes have an incorporated mirror.

    Per total mi se par niste palete foarte bune, iar pretul lor este minuscul. Le gasiti, impreuna cu sute alte de produse la un pret redus, aici sau in magazinele fizice Marionnaud.

    All in all these are all very nice and their price is really small. You can find them in Marionnaud stores or online on their website.

Ruj lichid mat INGRID COSMETICS/INGRID COSMETICS Matte liquid lipstick

    Rujurile lichide mate au castigat popularitate enorma de la aparitia lor datorita aspectului lor catifelat dar si rezistentei la transfer, din acest punct de vedere fiind superioare rujurilor cu finish satinat. Fiind prinsa de "febra" rujurilor mate, am incercat printre altele si pe cele INGRID Cosmetics.

    Matte liquid lipsticks gained a lot of popularity since their first appearance because of their velvety look but also to most of them being transfer-proof, lasting a lot longer than their satiny counterparts. Among many others, I've recently tried the INGRID Cosmetics matte liquid lipsticks.

    Aceste rujuri m-au impresionat placut si pretul este extrem de mic pentru calitatea pe care o ofera. Ele difera putin de majoritatea rujurilor mate, avand o consistenta putin mai lichida. Datorita acestui fapt nu usuca buzele la fel de mult ca altele si nu "crapa" pe buze dupa cateva ore, acestea ramanand moi si catifelate, cu textura uniforma pe toata durata purtarii rujului.

    These lipsticks have really impressed me and the price is extremely small for their quality. They're different from most matte liquid lipsticks, being a little more liquidy. Because of this the lipsticks aren't as drying as most others and don't settle in the lines of the lips, looking soft, smooth and uniform for as long as you wear them.

    In privinta rezistentei acestui ruj, este un adevarat erou dupa ce se usuca, facand fata intreaga zi vorbitului, bautului si chiar si micilor gustari, dar, ca toate rujurile, se estompeaza in contact prelungit cu uleiuri, asa ca mancarurile grase sunt de evitat. Pretul este minuscul, eu le-am gasit la 7 lei aici. Nu stiu cum este pigmentatia culorilor mai inchise, acestea fiind de multe ori problematice, dar cu nuantele nude nu sunt probleme. Eu am nuantele 100 (nude-ul perfect pentru tenul meu, bej-roz deschis la culoare), 101 (roz deschis spre corai), 102 (nude roziu prafuit) si 106 (roz spre mov).

    This lipstick is very long-lasting, even when faced with talking, drinking and eating, but, as most lipsticks, it fades because of oils, so I would avoid greasy foods. The price is really small and you can find it on various online stores for really cheap. I don't know how pigmented the darker colors are but the nudes are amazing. I got shades 100 (my perfect nude, a light pinkish beige), 101 (coraly pink), 102 (dusty pink nude) and 106 (pinkish purple).

    In concluzie recomand cu mare incredere aceste rujuri, raportul calitate-pret este imbatabil si nuantele sunt foarte frumoase, se potrivesc oricarui ten (si nici nu fac dintii sa para mai galbeni) si rezista ore intregi fara sa usuce buzele.

    In conclusion I do recommend these lipsticks, they're beautiful, long-lasting, transfer-proof, look great on any skin tone, don't make teeth appear more yellow and they're also really cheap, so it's a great deal. 

Review: Spuma de par coloranta Venita Trendy Color

     In cautarea mea pentru o vopsea de par semipermanenta albastra care sa fie si la un pret accesibil am dat peste spuma de par Venita Trendy Color. Este o vopsea fara amoniac sau peroxid, usor de aplicat(ca o spuma de par obisnuita). Culoarea pe care am ales-o eu a fost 39 - Cosmic Blue. Nu aveam asteptari prea mari, parul meu fiind saten deschis. Din fericire, aceasta vopsea mi-a depasit asteptarile.

    In my quest for a cheap blue hair dye I found the Venita Trendy Color hair mousse. It's an ammonia-free, peroxide-free dye which is easy to apply, just like a regular mousse. The color I got is 39 - Cosmic Blue. I didn't have high expectations from it, my hair being light brown. Fortunately this hair dye exceeded them.

    Pentru parul meu pana in talie am avut nevoie de doua sticlute. Spuma se aplica pe parul curat si uscat. Singurul mic dezavantaj pe care i l-am gasit e ca intra foarte repede in firul de par si se usuca, asa ca aveam impresia ca nu am aplicat destula vopsea pe portiunea respectiva si aveam tendinta sa pun mai multa. Chiar si asa, culoarea rezultata a fost una uniforma, intensa. A iesit un albastru inchis si culoarea s-a schimbat dupa fiecare spalare: dupa prima spalare a devenit albastru intens, apoi un turcoaz frumos, apoi verde. Pe parul meu a tinut cam 10 spalari pana s-a dus si ultima urma de vopsea, dar asta depinde de parul fiecaruia si cum reactioneaza la tipul de vopsea.

    I needed two bottles of dye for my waist-length hair. You apply it on clean, dry hair. The only disadvantage it has it's that it dries very quickly on the hair and you have the tendency to apply it multiple times. Even so, the resulting color was uniform and intense. My hair turned out dark blue and it changed with every wash: after the first one it became an intense blue, then turqoise, then green. On my hair it lasted for about 10 washes until the last trace of color washed out, but it depends on the type of hair and how it reacts to dyes. 

    Per total sunt foarte multumita si deja mi-am mai cumparat cateva flacoane. Costa in jur de 11-15lei, in functie de magazin, Se gaseste in Auchan, in unele magazinase de cartier sau de cosmetice chinezesti si poloneze, sau online (cel mai convenabil era aici). Gama de culori e mare, ajungand de la albastru sau verde la roz, mov, portocaliu sau galben.

    All in all I'm very pleased with this dye and I already bought more bottles. It's cheap and easy to find, even online. There's a pretty good range of colors, from blue or green to pink, purple, orange or yellow.

    In concluzie sunt foarte multumita de aceasta vopsea si cu siguranta o voi folosi din nou.

    I'm very pleased with this hair dye and I'll use it again.

La ce folosesc uleiul de cocos/What I use coconut oil for

    Am descoperit uleiul de cocos acum vreo 3 ani si de atunci imi e cel mai bun prieten si e nelipsit in casa mea. Il folosesc la foarte multe lucruri si inteleg de ce e atat de iubit prin blogosfera. In ultima vreme folosesc uleiul de la Sunlit, cel pentru uz alimentar. Da, alimentar. M-am interesat, si diferenta dintre cel alimentar si cel pentru uz cosmetic e ca cel pentru consum uman e facut din ingrediente de calitatea 1, in timp ce acela pentru uz cosmetic e facut din ingrediente de o calitate mai...proasta.
 
    I discovered coconut oil about 3 years ago and it has been my best friend ever since and I always have a jar on hand. I use it for multiple things and I completely understand why coconut oil is so loved around the blogosphere. Lately I've been using Sunlit coconut oil, the one meant for human consumption. I did my homework, and apparently the difference is that the food-grade oil is made from top quality ingredients, while cosmetic-grade oil is made from whatever is left.

    Dupa cum spuneam, folosesc uleiul Sunlit pentru ca e usor de gasit si e extrem de ieftin. Eu l-am gasit in hypermarketul Real cu vreo 8lei pentru 300g(!). Atentie, nu il gasiti la raftul cu uleiuri, ci undeva la raionul cu iaurturi/produse bio. L-am gasit si online, aici si aici.

    Sunlit coconut oil is easy to find in Romania and it's extremely cheap, about 2 dollars for 300 grams.

    Cum folosesc uleiul de cocos?

    How do I use coconut oil?

• Ca demachiant - iau o cantitate mica de ulei, o topesc intre degete si ma frec bine la ochi, dupa care sterg uleiul cu un servetel de hartie. Imi place sa il folosesc asa pentru ca e foarte eficient, e bland cu pielea sensibila a ochilor si in acelasi timp hidrateaza foarte bine. Personal il folosesc doar ca demachiant pentru ochi deoarece tenul meu nu il tolereaza la fel de bine./ As make-up remover - I take a small amount of oil, melt it between my fingers and gently rub my eyes; after that I wipe it off with a paper towel. I like to use it that way because it's very effective, it's gentle with the sensitive skin around the eyes and, at the same time, it moisturizes the skin. I only use it for eye make-up because my face tends to break out from it.
• Ca masca de par - cu 4-5 ore inainte sa ma spal pe cap topesc in cuptorul cu microunde cam doua linguri de ulei, cu care ma dau pe par si imi pun pe cap o casca de dus sau un prosop. Dupa ce ma spal parul imi ramane moale si usor de pieptanat si pare mult mai sanatos si stralucitor./As a hair mask - 4-5 hours before washing my hair I melt about two tablespoons of coconut oil and I apply it on my hair and I put on a shower cap or a towel. After I wah my hair feels soft, healthy, shiny and it's easy to comb.
• Ca lotiune dupa epilat - dupa ce ma epilez prefer sa ma dau cu acest ulei pentru ca nu are alcool sau parfum sau alte ingrediente care sa imi irite pielea./ As a soothing lotion after shaving - after I shave I prefer to use this oil because it doesn't have alcohol, perfume or any other irritating ingredients.
• Ca deodorant - uleiul de cocos are proprietati antibacteriene si antimicrobiene, asa ca uneori il folosesc ca deodorant cand nu am foarte multe de facut si nu sunt plecata mult de acasa. Nu e la fel de eficient ca un antiperspirant din comert, dar e o alternativa buna daca nu transpirati mult./ As a deodorant - coconut oil is both antibacterial and antimicrobial, so sometimes I use it as a deodorant if I'm not gone for too long. It's bot as effective as a store-bought deodorant, but it's a good alternative if you don't sweat a lot.
• Ca digestiv - o lingurita luata dimineata pe stomacul gol imbunatateste digestia./ As a digestive aid - one teaspoon eaten in the morning helps with digestion.
• Ca gustare pentru pisica mea - pisica mea iubeste uleiul de cocos si e bun si pentru stomacul si blanita ei (!!! nu ii dau foarte mult, mai putin de jumatate de lingurita, din cand in cand)./ As a snack for my cat - my cat loves coconut oil and it's good for her stomach and her fur (!!! I never give her more than half of a teaspoon, every now and then).

    Uleiul de cocos mi se pare extrem de util si accesibil, avand atat de multe utilizari, plus multe altele, la un pret atat de mic.

    

    Coconut oil is extremely useful, given the sheer number of uses it has and the small price.

Sephora Romania - magazin online(?)

     Astazi am intrat pe site-ul Sephora sa vad daca au aparut noutati si ma astepta o surpriza. Nu stiu daca e o schimbare permanenta sau sunt doar in teste, dar am impresia ca Sephora au lansat magazinul online in Romania, la fel ca in alte tari. Stie cineva despre asta? Nu am vazut sa anunte nici pe Facebook nici pe Instagram. Oricum, ar fi o schimbare binevenita :)

Review: ELF Gel Eyeliner

     Tusul crema ELF este, dupa parerea mea, unul din cele mai bune produse de acest gen, la un pret mai mult decat decent, la fel ca toate produsele de la aceasta firma. Pe site este o varietate mare de nuante, 9 la numar, dar preferatul meu este cel negru.

     The ELF cream eyeliner is, in my opinion, one of the best products of this kind, with a very decent price, just as every product from this make-up brand. There's a huge variety of colors on the website, but my favourite is the black one.

     Tusul este cremos, foarte bine pigmentat, se aplica usor si este destul de rezistent.

     The eyeliner is very creamy, very pigmented, applies easily and it's pretty long-lasting.

     Tusul vine insotit de o mica pensula in unghi, destul de buna si indemanoasa, dar eu personal prefer alt tip de pensula pentru aplicarea tusului. Acest produs poate fi folosit atat ca tus, cat si pe post de fard crema sau baza pentru alte farduri datorita rezistentei lui. Pe pleoapele mele nu se aduna in pliuri si rezista fara probleme.

     The eyeliner comes with a small angled brush, which is pretty handy, but I personally preffer another kind of brush so I don't use that one to apply it. This product cand be used both as an eyeliner and as a cream eyeshadow or eyeshadow base. It doesn't crease on my eyelids and it stays on until I decide to remove it.

     Am citit pe unele bloguri ca s-ar usca in borcanel destul de repede. N-am avut niciodata problema asta si sunt la al patrulea borcanel. 

     

     I've read on other blogs that it dries out pretty fast in the jar, but I've never had this problem and I'm on my fourth jar.

     Pretul este in mod normal de 22lei, dar de obicei sunt promotii pe site si de cele mai multe ori costa in jur de 15lei.

     The price is normally around 15-22lei.

     Plusuri:

• bine pigmentat/ well pigmented
• disponibil in multe nuante/ available in many shades
• pret mic (15-22lei)/ small price
• versatil (poate fi folosit atat ca tus cat si ca fard)/ can be used in more than one way
• are o pensula destul de indemanoasa/ comes with a handy brush

     Minusuri:

• nu este rezistent la apa/ it's not waterproof

     Acestea fiind spuse, este un tus foarte bun pe care il recomand si cu siguranta il voi recumpara.

     All in all, it's a great eyeliner, I strongly recommend it and I will repurchase it.

Nails: stampile BornPrettyStore

     Manichiura prin stampilare e un mod simplu, eficient si rapid de a obtine un model pe unghii si nici persoanele mai putin experimentate in domeniul nail art nu pot da gres cu aceasta. Procedeul e simplu: se pune oja pe modelul dorit de pe placuta, se indeparteaza excesul, se ia modelul cu o stampila si se aplica pe unghii.

    Placuta a fost cumparata de pe BornPrettyStore, un site pe care il recomand cu toata increderea. Au o gama variata de produse cosmetice, accesorii si haine la preturi mici si transport gratuit indiferent de valoarea comenzii.

      Modelul mi se pare unul simplu, dar de efect si foarte usor de realizat.
